Purple Preschool 

 The older preschool classroom consists of mostly four year olds.  In this room, preschoolers make choices about how to spend their day.  Theme based interest centers allow many opportunities for exploration and pretend play.  Using the Creative Curriculum Learning Objectives in combination with the Illinois Early Learning Standards gives teachers a broad spectrum of objectives to choose from when planning lessons.  Child initiated activities available in a planned environment fosters the concepts how children learn through play.
